Walking for Health

During Spring 2009 Groundwork Solent developed it's Walking for Health iniative, offering a range of walks for all abilities. Throughout 2009 Groundwork Solent will be running a series of walks of varying degrees of difficulty throughout the Gosport area.

The walks are open to people of all ages and abilities, with the aim to get everyone outside and active.

Groundwork Solent will also be working with other groups throughout the area to promote walking, our local environment and heritage.

Volunteer Walk Leaders

Groundwork Solent would like to hear from anyone who may like to join the scheme as a volunteer walk leader, we already have some intrepid volunteers as well as Keith, our man in the wild, but the more volunteers we have, the more walks we are able to run.

Full training and support will be provided. If you would like more information please view our Vacancies page or contact our Gosport Office on 02392 617020
